Three people have died while eight others suffered minor injuries after a fire broke out in a building in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, reported Gulf News on Wednesday.
The fire began on the third storey of a nine-floor building, police reports confirm that victims died due to the flames and not the resulting smoke.
According to police reports, the fire began at around 4:20 p.m., the building was subsequently evacuated by Civil Defense teams.
Investigations are ongoing to find out the source of the fire.
