A bank in the Eastern city of al Bayda was reportedly targeted by an explosive substance on Sunday.
The Director of the National Security in al Bayda Colonel Djadallah Mohamed Abdel Gawad, said that the assailant threw an explosive substance behind the seat of the Gumhouria Bank branch in the city, causing no damages or casualties.
Col. Djadallah in a statement to the Libyan news agency, said they knew the identity of the person through anonymous eyewitness accounts, where they saw the car and the person who threw the explosive material.
