An Egyptian worker was murdered yesterday in Zliten in what appears to be a random killing. According to an army officer, citing the Zliten Security Room and locals, two men in a BMW stopped next to the Egyptian, pulled him by his shirt and put the grenade in his hand and drove off.
“The victim’s hand was blown off. He died almost immediately,” the officer told the Libya Herald,.
The incident happened inside an Egyptian workers’ facility in the town centre.
“An investigation into the accident is ongoing,” the officer said.
