Maltese consider sending migrants back to #Libya

The Maltese government may send 102 Somali migrants back to Libya after they arrived in a dinghy on Tuesday morning, according to reports.
“All options are being considered, but no decision has been taken,” a government spokesman said.
The group are reported to consist of 41 women and two babies, which makes them entitled to humanitarian protection.
Last week, four boats from Libya carrying almost 800 migrants were intercepted off the shores of Italy and Malta.
Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has labelled the migrant issue as a”Mediterranean crisis”.
