Police forces and other security organisations belonging to
the Ministry of Interior have demonstrated against the continuing
attacks on State institutions by illegitimate armed groups.
Demonstrators are demanding the government to implement the law to evacuate arms from Tripoli and restricting the movement of armed vehicles within the city.
Calls for stability and security were chanted by the police, condemning those who are dragging Libya into a state of violence.
They also demanded the government to provide all means of policing equipment, including arms.
Although the Libyan police are a legitimate force, they remain unhappy with their inability to deal with serious situations due to lack of training and weapons, forcing them to rely on some rebel brigades in certain situations.
