Libya’s Ministry of Education pledged to pay the salaries of all the teachers who had been hired throughout Libya.
The salaries, which would be distributed throughout all the regions would cover salaries since the last academic year.
The ministry said in a press statement to the Libyan news agency, that the payment covers the salaries of months of the last academic year, and salaries for months have elapsed from the academic year this, noting that the payment will be for teachers who are still continuing in the performance of their schools.
This comes as the General National Congress just recently passed the budget plan for the 2013 fiscal year.
