(WAM) -- Members of the UN Security Council have condemned in the strongest terms the attack against the Jordanian diplomatic convoy in Tripoli, Libya, on 15th April, which resulted in the abduction of the Jordanian ambassador and injuries to his driver.

Petra News Agency quoted the statement of the Security Council as expressing deep concern at this attack and called for the immediate release of the Jordanian ambassador.
