TRIPOLI, Libya: Sheikh Adel Al Faaedi, head of the reconciliation committee of the Libyan Defense Ministry, said Monday the crisis of the detention of Egyptian trucks in Ajdabiya has already been relieved.
Faaedi, who is the head of the Egyptian-Libyan social communication committee, asserted that the concerned authorities allowed the vegetables and food trucks to enter Libya Monday, while the rest of the trucks are expected to enter Libya Thursday.
He praised the efforts made by chieftains of some tribes, especially Sheikh Badr el-Zuri, to allow the Egyptian trucks into the Libyan territories.
More than 100 Egyptian trucks have been prevented to enter Libyan territories by gunmen in the Libyan city of Ajdabiya on Monday, demanding the release of 13 Libyan fishermen detained in Egypt.
