The Tripoli Local Council has vocally condemned the attacks
against energy and water sources, considering it as a declaration of war
against the people of Libya and the 17th February revolution, believing
it should be dealt with firmly and decisively.
In a statement on national television on Tuesday evening, the Council said the Libyan government need to develop appropriate solutions to the siege imposed on the Libyan people by groups who appear to working in their own interests.
They also called on the government to use all force necessary to protect these economically vital sources, and to punish those who refuse to work with them as a response to their irresponsible actions.
