Senussi’s daughter abducted after prison release

The Libyan Justice Minister Salah Mirghani announced the abduction of Anoud Abdullah al-Senussi, daughter of Gaddafi’s former spy chief, while being released from al-Rayoumi Prison on Monday.
Mirghani told a press conference, a group of masked gunmen took her in a convoy whilst she was being transferred to a Tripoli airport with members of her family and accompanied by police, apparently heading south to Sabha.
Anoud was being held at al-Rayoumi Prison in Ain Zara for ten months, after authorities reported she entered Libya with a forged passport. Her release was announced last week.
No one was injured in the abduction on Monday, Mirghani said, adding a full investigation was underway to find her whereabouts and the abducters.
