Mitri expressed the UN’s high interest in Libya, stressing the continued cooperation with the Libyan authorities will help provide technical support and advice in building and reforming State institutions according to Libyan national priorities, the UNSMIL reported.
On Sunday, Mitri met with a delegation from the Supreme Amazigh Council, discussing the latest developments relating to the demands made by them, such as the Amazigh culture becoming constitutionalised.
According to an online report, Mitri stressed that the form of political system in Libya is a matter for the Libyans to decide upon, adding the drafting and adoption of the constitution is a sovereign Libyan affair.
