Two more #British trade missions scheduled in quick succession

Tripoli, 31 August 2013:
Britain’s Middle East Association will be sending two more trade missions to Libya, bringing to six the number of trips it has run during the last nine months.
The next mission  arrives in Tripoli on 6 October and will stay in the capital for five day,s with a possible visit to Misrata.  The MEA then plans to lead a further mission between 24 and 28 November.
The MEA said that it had been telling UK companies: “ It is never too early to establish relationships with relevant counterparts, as these will pay dividends in the long-run. UK products and services are held in high esteem in Libya and the English language is the preferred second language for retraining.”
Saying that it also believes the appetite for UK companies for Libyan business is growing, the MEA promised that its missions will look to link British firms to local decision-makers and partners.
