The 4th International Food, Food Technologies and Packaging Industry Exhibition is to be held between 3-6 June 2013 at the Tripoli International Fairground, in Tripoli.
The fair will be held together with 4th International Machinery Show – Machinery and Equipments Exhibition – at the same date and at the same fairground.
The organisers report that as Libya is not an industrialised country, almost all finished and semi-finished products have to be imported. They confirmed that there is huge demand for machinery, food and packaging in Libya, and as a result of the success of the last fair, 80 percent of the participants who had signed new contracts for this show had sold their machines, machinery equipments and technologies during last year’s exhibition.
So far 55 percent of last year’s participants have reserved space in this year’s event, organisers confirmed.
In 2012 the fair occupied approximately 2,250 sqm of net stand space and was visited by 5.604 professional visitors .
In total 97 companies participated in the show, mainly from Turkey , Libya, Pakistan , Italy, Taiwan, Denmark , Algeria , Egypt , Tunisia, and South Africa .
The show attracted visitors mainly from Turkey, Taiwan, Egypt , Chad, Tunisia, Algeria, UAE, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Nigeria, S.Africa, Morocco, India, and Malaysia.
