PM #Zeidan: #Libya will not be terrorist haven


Prime Minister Ali Zeidan said Libya will not be a haven for terrorists during his visit to Brussels Monday.
Zidane in an interview with reporters after a series of discussions with senior officials in the European Union, said that Libyan authorities do everything in its power to control its borders, and monitor the situation carefully and firmly.
Zeidan also publicly refuted charges issued by the State of neighboring Niger, on alleged terrorist activities that are being planned from Libya.
“I call on the authorities of Niger to prevent anti-Libya activities emanating from its territory, and to invite her to cooperate with the International Police (Interpol) to deliver a number of former officials involved in activities hostile to Libya,” said Zeidan, referring to former leader Muammar Gaddafi’s son, al- Saadi.
Zidane stressed that Libya wants to cooperate with all countries on an equal footing, according to mutual benefits which is applicable to the Europeans and non-Europeans alike.
He also thanked the European Union for supporting the Libyan revolution of February 17, and standing to the side of Libya to help them to pick up its affairs and establish security and stability.
