Geoffrey Massa to miss #Libya friendly

international friendly, June 1
Libya Vs Uganda – Tripoli
Uganda Cranes will be without striker Geoffrey Massa for the Libya friendly game scheduled for June 1 in Tripoli.
The Cyprus based striker requested to be left out due to personal problems but will be available for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Angola on June 8 and 15 respectively.
“Massa has withdrawn from the Libya friendly game but will be available for the qualifiers”, Cranes Media Officer Fred Katende told Kawowo Sports.
The former Police FC striker is already in the country and attended the Cranes training on Saturday but never took part in the drills.
He joins Captain Andrew Mwesigwa (busy schedule) and Mike Sserumaga who is confirmed to be in Vietnam according to impeccable sources as the absentees from the Libya game.
Cranes leave for Tripoli on Wednesday.
