Cranes #Libya travel altered #football

The Uganda Cranes will now travel to Libya on Thursday, just two days before their international friendly with the hosts.
This is the third time the trip to Tripoli is being altered. Coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic side were earlier scheduled to travel on Wednesday at 1am before changing to midday the same day.
“(The) Libyan FA change Cranes travel arrangement for the third time,” said Cranes media officer Fred Katende Malibu.
“Now Cranes will travel tomorrow at 3am aboard Turkish Air via Istanbul connecting Tripoli.” No specific explanation was given for the latest change.
Uganda will use Saturday’s friendly with Libya as preparation for the June 8 and 15 World Cup qualifying home games against Liberia and Angola.
The Cranes currently trail group leaders Senegal, who have five points, by three. Uganda must win all their remaining three World Cup qualifying games and hope Senegal abate against Angola or Liberia to finish top of the pool.
