#Turkey Deputy PM holds talks with #Libyan leaders

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay met the President of Libya Mohammad al Magarief and Prime Minister Ali Zeidan in Tripoli Sunday.
Meetings were behind closed doors.
Atalay spoke to Anadolu Agency afterwards and said “I expressed Turkey’s readiness for cooperation and contribution to the President and Prime Minister.”
Atalay visited Libya for the symposium held by SETA, a Turkish think-tank. The symposium was titled “New geopolitics of North Africa: Turkey and Libya.”
Speaking on the two countries relations, Magarief expressed the importance of learning from Turkey’s achievements and using them as aspirations. Turkey is considered an emerging market who are newly industrialized, and among the world’s leading producers of agricultural products.
Turkish Deputy PM also indicated this meeting was very productive as Turkish journalists, academics met with counterparts from Libya. Atalay said he expected the meeting will contribute to the Libya’s political actors who are working to establish the new shape of the country in transition process.
