An explosion hit Zueitina Oil Company’s crude and condensate
pipelines on Tuesday night. The state-run National Oil Corporation said
on its website, citing company official Abul Qasim Shanger.
Fire engines, rebels, security and armed forces rushed to the scene at around 10pm after hearing the pipes erupted.
Repairs are underway at Zueitina Oil Company, and the incident is said to have left no casualties. An investigation has been launched to find the cause of damage.
