A Libyan delegation fronted by Undersecretary of the Defence
Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Training Ahmad Abu Zayyan, discussed
bilateral educational opportunities with the Jordanian Secretary General
of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mustafa
Odwan, according to the Jordanian News Agency, Petra.
The two nations were in talks of cooperation, enabling Libyan students the opportunity to study at Jordanian universities.
Odwan declared Jordan’s enthusiasm towards helping Libyan students with education, providing housing and addressing any other special requests.
The Libyan representative, Abu Zayyan, expressed thanks to Jordan’s effort to assist Libya’s higher educational facilities, as well as the registration procedures for the universities.
