Ahmed announced African airlines will start flights from Tripoli to
Niger’s capital, Niamey, with two flights a week from the end of April
onwards.
In a statement to the Libyan News Agency made after a meeting with Niger’s Ambassador to Libya on Sunday, the direct flight from Tripoli to Niamey will create an efficient path from Niger to Europe and the Gulf via Libya.
He said the Ambassador of Niger to Libya expressed his desire to boost cooperation between the two countries, to enable Niger’s citizens can have transportation to the rest of the world.
