Benghazi, 23 April 2103:
A soldier, Ashraf Obeidi, was shot outside his house in the Benghazi’s Fuwaihat district yesterday. He was taken to Hawari Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The reason for the killing is unknown.
There have been a spate of killings of security officials in the city over the past year, although they have been less in the past couople of months. Almost all have the markings of contract killings.
