Protesters deny access to oil sites in east and south of #Libya

Libyan oil minister Abdel Bari-Aroussi claimed protesters denied access to oil sites in the East and South of Libya, warning it will have negative effects on the national economy.
“The sit-in in front of the tankers at Waha Oil’s Gialo 59 field in Benghazi caused great difficulties, as the site provides all the eastern region,” the Minister said.
He went on to explain  the protesters who are demanding increased salaries, and social benefits are paralyzing transport fuel, and preventing kerosene supplies to Benghazi airport, as fuel is now flown in from Tripoli.
The Minister warned that “such actions may be reflected on the country’s economy and affect the implementation of projects in sectors such as health and transportation, and infrastructure”.
He threatened to use force on the protesters, adding that these moves could undermine the credibility of the State with its partners “.
