The General National Congress have reassured the Libyan
people of Dr. Mohamed Al Magarief’s health, after undergoing heart
surgery in Turkey.
The GNC’s president announced in a phone interview on national television the success of his operation, although he is required further testing to ensure his health.
He added: “I’m longing to go back and continue my work, and when the doctors authorize I can travel, I will not hesitate for a day,” refuting rumours of his death to be false.
Magarief called on all citizens to be aware and cautious of the rumours circulating, and recalled warning his own children dangers that surround social networking sites as they are usually the main culprit of such hearsay.
