Car bomb blast kills nine in #Iraq's Shiite south

GARMAT ALI, Iraq — A car bomb blast at a bus terminal in Iraq's predominantly Shi'ite Muslim south killed nine people on Sunday, police said.

The bomb exploded in the town of Garmat Ali, around 20 km (12 miles) north of the oil hub of Basra. — Reuters
