The third scientific conference organized by the Libyan society of Hematology has started in the western town of Gharyan.
The events taking place during the two day conference include scientific lectures and panel discussions which will specifically focus on particular blood diseases and prevention.
The event will also focus on the importance of donating blood and its role in helping and saving lives of patients who need it during treatment. Blood transfusion services will also be an area of focus.
Many Libyan doctors, medical specialists, and the Chairman and members of the Libyan doctors association are expected to attend.
