Fufa confirm #Libya friendly

Fufa have confirmed Uganda will play Libya in a friendly on June 1 in Tripoli as they prepare for a hectic World Cup qualifying month.
This will be new Cranes coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic’s first match in charge following the Serb’s appointment.
“This is to confirm that we have secured a friendly match with Libya in Tripoli on June 1,” said Fufa CEO Edgar Watson on Tuesday.
“This game will help Micho to test his players ahead of our game against Liberia on June 8.” The Cranes face Angola, also at Namboole, seven days later.
A local independent, the Daily Monitor last week reported of an upcoming friendly between Uganda and Libya, and now supersport.com understands that Micho was strongly behind securing of the friendly.
A trusted source also tells us that the trip’s expenses will be taken care of by the hosts. Uganda currently occupy the bottom of their World Cup qualifying group with two points.
Senegal, who the Cranes face last, are top with five points. Liberia, who beat Uganda 2-0 in the last game, are second on four while Angola have three.
