May 24, 2013 will mark the opening of the most awaited Sports fest 2013 sponsored by the Filipino Community in Libya [FILCOL] and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration [OWWA].
The venue, Kortuba Gymnasium, brings back memories of the sports competition held during the late 1980's.
Kortuba Gymnasium, situated at the heart of Tripoli, will be filled with Filipinos and even expatriates from different parts of the country.
Tournament will include Men's basketball, Men and Women's Volleyball Games. For sure every Friday, Kortuba Gymnasium will be filled with overflowing Expatriates of different nationalities.
This event is also with cooperation of different Filipino Organizations established and recognized here at Libya. In the opening date, expect lovely muses, colorful teams banning different sponsors, companies, and groups of different kinds.
Here you can appreciate how Filipinos really unite when it comes to sports. Each team will had their own supporters who will happily joked with each other.
Unfortunately, some do not know how to react when they hear irritating comments! May 24, 2013 , see you there at Kortuba Gymnasium for the spectacular opening and games.
