#Libyan_ambassador to #U.S. resigns

Libya’s ambassador to the United States, Ali Aujali has resigned from his post, according to Prime Minister Ali Zeidan.
Zeidan announced Aujali’s resignation during his meeting with members of the General National Congress Sunday.
Recently Aujali was nominated as Libya’s foreign minister but officially resigned on January 2nd without being sworn in.
A longtime diplomat, Aujali has worked as a diplomat in England, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina and the U.S.
He has been investiagted due to close ties with former dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
