The Central Bank of Libya has adopted a resolution on the
Governor’s power to take action destroying the currency withdrawn from
circulation.
In a statement received by the Libyan News Agency, the Council decided during their second meeting of 2013 discussed the delegation’s arrangements concerning the termination of the currency. and also the decision to entrust the administrator of the Governor’s Office to take the necessary measures for its implementation.
