The General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL) has set up a committee to manage the aftermath of a collapsed electricity supply line that left one dead and four homes destroyed.
An 11 kV power supply line fell onto another, 220 kV line last week in the town of Ajilat, near Zawia, killing one person and setting fire to a number of houses. Four homes have been completely destroyed and a further 13 have suffered fire damage.
