Turkey’s ambassador to Libya confirmed his country’s readiness to support and assist Libya in securing her borders.
The Turkish ambassador in Tripoli Kamal Leiden, during a meeting on Tuesday with the General National Congress Committee for the Defense, discussed the prospects of cooperation in the military field between the two countries.
This would include logistics, the training of military personnel and the continued cooperation between the two countries militarily, according to ASHA.
The two sides agreed during the meeting on the exchange of visits between the chairman and members of the Libyan parliament’s defense committee, with members of the military and security committees in the Turkish Parliament.
