#libya Dorda trial delayed again

A court in the capital Tripoli has postponed the trial of Abu Zeid Dorda, the last president of external security to the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, until Tuesday 25 June, at the request of the prosecution and the defense.
Dorda had pleaded not guilty to six charges against him.
Defense lawyers asked to postpone the trial, “Because of the new evidence and testimony presented by the prosecution.”
Since June of last year, the trial has been postponed six times.
Dorda was once the highest official in the Gaddafi regime to be put on trial in Libya since the killing of Muammar Gaddafi, but that has changed since Saif al Islam and Abdullah Senussi are going through their own trials.
Dorda was present Tuesday morning in court, leaning on crutches, after fractured his hip after jumping from a window during his arrest in September 2011 in Tripoli.
