The Libyan Organization for judges, in a
statement, expressed concern about the systematic intrusion of the
courts and public prosecutors Sunday.
“The organization of Libyan judges are greatly concerned in the cases of repeated abuse which continue to take place on the headquarters of the courts and the prosecution office,” read the statement.
Many see the inability of the Ministry of Interior, which did not take any precautionary measures to protect the headquarters of the courts and prosecutors despite repeated attacks as the main concern.
Despite previous appeals in inquiries the Ministry did not take any action in tracking down the perpetrators and apprehending them to bring them to justice.
An explosion occurred outside of a Misrata courthouse last week.
