The Anatolia news agency reports that the information office
of the Libyan Army announced that Egypt’s chief of staff of it’s army,
Sidqi Sabhi, will visit Libya Tuesday to discuss the development of
Egyptian-Libyan relations.
The Information Office, in a press release Monday evening, says that Sabhi will travel to Mitiga International Airport in the capital Tripoli, where he will be received by the Libyan army chief of staff, Yousef el- Mangoush.
During the official two day first Sabhi will meet with Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, President Mohammed Magariaf, Interior Minister Ashour Shoael and Defense Minister Mohammed el- Bargani.
The statement pointed out that the Egyptian Chief of Staff will also visit a number of colleges and military sites.
Discussions on recent Libyan attacks on Coptic Christians, as well as the desire from the Libyan government for Egypt to hand over senior officials from the Gaddafi figure to be on the agenda.
