Dozens of student doctors in Benghazi went out to protest
against the recent attacks on medical personnel in various hospitals and
health facilities in the city Monday.
The protesters demanded that security be stepped up, while calling the attackers ‘outlaws.’
“The frequency of attacks have increased and evolved,” said a protester, adding that one doctor was stabbed and another’s car was burned.
They stressed that they can not continue to work and their colleagues are exposed almost daily to attacks verbal and physical, by individuals or groups.
” We demand the government to move in and do more to deter outlaws.”
