Libya _CIA station chief Stevens killed in revenge for war on Libya: Don DeBar&

“The Republicans and Democrats are wrestling over whether or not there was a ‘stand-down order’ in Benghazi that prevented firing by some US military assets, that were, I guess, at the scene, that would have allowed them to protect the diplomats/CIA station chief and some others back in September 2012 - the Benghazi incident, that’s the big deal in American politics,” Don DeBar, an anti-war activist and radio host in New York, said during an interview with Press TV on Saturday.
US military officers have testified before Congress that there was no "stand-down order" that held back military assets that might have been able to prevent two of the four US deaths at a diplomatic outpost and CIA annex in Benghazi.
The Benghazi issue has become a rallying cry for Republicans, who have been conducting congressional inquiries and condemning the Obama administration for its response in the final weeks of Obama's 2012, condemning its incompetence and cover-up.
“No one, either Republicans who are also claiming that they are going to sue Obama for extra-constitutional activities, nor the Democrats, who hold themselves out to the electorate to the people are opposed to the Americans – the majority of Americans by every measure now – [are discussing] that there was an illegal war conducted by the president that destroyed Libya,” DeBar said.
The war’s purpose was to “enable the introduction of AFRICOM [one of nine Unified Combatant Commands of the United States Armed Forces] -- and through exploitation of Africa -- into the continent of Africa and also to prevent any secular socialist Muslim state carrying an independent foreign policy and with money and material from opposing US interests,” DeBar added.

“It was intended to allow the further penetration and conquest of both Africa and the Middle East, and it was done illegally. Thousands of people were killed. Racist propaganda - anti-black, anti-African racist propaganda was used that resulted in the lynching of the black people -- this, coming from the United States government headed by a black man whose father was an African.  None of this gets discussed. They discuss whether or not the guy who got shot could have been not shot, and whose fault is it. In any event, no one even discusses the fact that he was the CIA station chief in Libya, and perhaps the people that were there knew it, and somebody decided to take revenge for what was done to their country,” he stated.

“The actors themselves are treated as if they're insane actors - no one probes their motive, because their motive is to exact some penalty for what was done to their country by the United States, obviously. No one's talking about any of that,” DeBar concluded
