While Addressing international conference on support for Libya held at the Italian Foreign Ministry in Rome, the ambassador indicated that Libya represents special importance for Sudan as friendly and neighboring state sharing borders with Sudan, and that the country was being used for conspiracies against Sudan previously.
She said Sudan will continue working with Libya security organs to secure common borders.

The international conference, attended by some 40 delegates, focused largely on easing disagreements among Libya's diverse tribal, religious and ethnic populations, looking to write a new constitution, and holding elections this year.
