Tripoli, 21 July 2013:
Pace Group will host a conference in Washington, DC on Tuesday July 30th in build-up to their 17-18 September FDI Libya conference in London.
Senior officials from the Libyan Government and their U.S counterparts together with leading figures from the business world will be present, organizers Pace say.
Discussions will focus around the area of construction, oil & gas, and finance with leading figures from both the government sphere and international business in attendance.
The conference will once again highlight and reaffirm the Libyan Government’s commitment to working with the international business community to develop long term business opportunities for stakeholders and enable key national development projects through international cooperation.
Organisers say that confirmed key officials will be: Omar Al Shakmak, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Oil & Gas and Mustafa Sanalla, Member of the Executive Board , NOC. Omar Abdalkareem, former Deputy Minister of Oil & Gas has also been invited.
Ibrahim El Sharief, Chairman Public Projects Authority, Mahmood Ajaj, Chairman, Housing & Infrastructure Board and Mohamed Ali Abdallah Addraat, GNC member are also confirmed, organizers Pace say.
In addition to the contingent of Libyan ministers and officials, numerous speakers from the global business community have also confirmed, added Pace.
