Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas Abdul Bari al Arousi met with
Tunisian Industry Minister Mehdi Juma to discuss the prospects of joint
cooperation between the two countries in the fields of the oil, gas and
electricity industry.
The meeting, which was held Monday morning at the headquarters of the ministry in Tripoli, was attended by Libyan Deputy Minister of Oil Omar Alchukmak, Secretary of State Tunisian charge of energy and mines Nathal el-Warfelly, Chairman of the Board National Foundation for oil Dr. Nouri Balrawin, and the Ambassador of Tunisia to Libya Ratha boukadi, to discuss cooperation in oil and gas field and tap the potential of the two countries in this field.
The Minister of Oil and Gas Abdul Bari al Arousi said the aim of the visit was to develop economic relations between the two countries, and to encourage investors to participate in the promotion of trade relations and to support the economy in both countries.
Al Aroussi also discussed the possibility of selling Libyan oil to Tunisia .
