New uniforms from #UK for #Tripoli school

Tripoli, 25 June 2013:
Students at a Tripoli school are proudly sporting new school uniforms, all the way from the UK.
Tripoli World Academy, which teaches a syllabus based on the British curriculum, opened after the revolution. Students started the new school year without a uniform but, once a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) had been established, it decided to design a uniform.
“I volunteered to handle this and contacted various specialists from around the world for quotes,” said head of the PTA Rania Mhani. The firm the PTA chose was UK company School Colours which, Mhani said, was very helpful in the design and creation of the new uniforms.
Mhani said Tripoli World Academy was delighted with the new uniform. “The colour was perfect, the logo looked great and both teachers and parents had nothing but positive comments about it,” she said.
She added that, since the first batch of uniforms arrived, parents have been eager to know when the next shipment will arrive.
“We are used to dealing with every kind of school all over the UK,” said director of School Colours, Mark Southcott, “but we had particular pride and enjoyment in helping the Tripoli World Academy establish its unique identity there.”
