The General National Congress has signed a memorandum of
understanding with German Deutsche Welle Academy for the purpose of
understanding and enhancing cooperation between the two parties.
The memorandum focuses on the development and regulation of Libyan media, strategic planning/consulting, and the support of developing legal structures and human resources in Libya.
The memorandum, was signed by the interim leader of the General National Congress Dr. Juma Attiga, and academic director of projects at the Deutsche Welle German Academy Martin Hellbrth.
It calls for the establishment of training courses in the legal field and supervisory framework for legislators within the legislative institutions, and to provide legal advice and administrative and regulatory requirements.
The memo, which was signed on Monday morning at the headquarters of the National Congress in Tripoli, stipulates the organization of training courses, workshops and seminars for employees sections NCP year, and subsequent branches and departments related to industry media such as the Ministry of Information, and the allocation of experts from the academic sector to provide consulting needed in the areas of resource development and human resources, and the development of radio and television programs.
It will take effect from the first of the month of June, and will be valid until it is replaced by another memorandum or is canceled by one of the parties.
