Libyan authorities have arrested a number of suspects who took part in
the attack on military facilities in Benghazi on Friday night killing 6
soldiers and wounding 5 from the Special Force.
The head of the Joint Security Chamber General Mohamed Sharif revealed in a press statement on Saturday night that the suspected have been identified and a group of them has been already arrested and are currently under interrogation.
Sharif said undercover agents were among the veiled gunmen as they planned and executed the attacks.
He also said that they have confessed with important information.
Among the attackers on the early Saturday morning hours were professional snipers and killed two captive soldiers in cold blood by slaughtering them.
Four more soldiers were killed by snipers as they tried to defend the military facilities.
The attackers were in hundreds according to the spokesman of the Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army Mr. Ali Shaikhi.
