Tripoli, 5 June 2013:
A man who forced his way onto a Buraq Airlines flight just as it was about to depart for Benghazi was arrested yesterday at Tripoli International Airport.
According to a report in the newspaper, Ajwa Albilad, the individual, who had neither ticket nor anything to show that he had been through security checkpoints, boarded the plane as the doors were about to shut.
The pilot of the Boeing 737-800 refused to take off and called airport security, who evacuated and the entire aircraft and arrested the latecomer. The flight eventually left for Benghazi after more than an hour’s delay.
