Tripoli, 29 May 2013:
Not for the first time over the last few weeks, Prime Minister Ali Zeidan reiterated the fact that the Libyan state is still “weak”.
Speaking at this lunchtime’s press conference Ali Zeidan admitted today that “the state is weak…the whole nation is weak”.
Restating from last week’s press conference what is now emerging as a theme; Zeidan called for patience from the Libyan public and promised that there will be “solutions to many of the outstanding problems”.
The public must be “patient”, Zeidan pleaded and stressed that he cannot “beat time”. He complained that “everybody wants more”, but in return he asked “what do you give in return”.
He stressed that problems will be solved in time but that “solutions take time”.
