A British military delegation headed arrived in Tripoli on Tuesday afternoon to begin a two visit to Libya.
The delegation includes former senior officer of the British Royal Air Force, General Nigel Maddox and member of the British Ministry of National Security, Dr. Andrew Murrison.
During the visit, the delegation is planned to meet with Libyan officials to discuss military cooperation, concentrating on security issues.
The British Royal Navy frigate, Her Majesty’s Ship, arrived in Tripoli on Tuesday morning, returning a number of Libyan officers who completed a training regime in Britain.
According to a military spokesman, Ayoub Kasim, the British frigate will play a role in restructuring the Libyan Navy.
