Two men, a Libyan and a Tunisian, living in the Nasr City district of
Cairo, have been arrested in possession of blank Libyan passports,
according to Egyptian newspaper Al-Hawadith.
The two men were detained after their car, which had no number plates, was stopped by the Egyptian Roads and Ports Security Management Department. A laptop and 17 unassigned Libyan were confiscated, along with a tub of glue.
Under questioning, the suspects apparently admitted that the passports were intended for forgeries. The case has been referred to the prosecution office.
