Tripoli. The Universal National Congress (parliament) of
Libya has suspended work in order to prevent sabotage, similar to the
attack on the car of the motorcade of the Parliament Speaker Mohammed
Yousef al-Magref, ITAR-TASS reported.
The decision was taken in view of the unsuitability of the premises to be held sessions of the Legislature.
"We refuse to hold sessions amid pressure, terrorism or the threat of weapons. Congress believes that the people of Libya should express their views peacefully, not by force," Mohammed Yousef al-Magref said.
