Minister of Health Nurideen Abdulhamid Dagman has made an
announcement on the improvements set to take place in Benghazi’s health
sector.
Hospitals have come under attack, including the staff which has raised concern over the security and unacceptable conditions both employees and patients face. Dagman agreed that 24 hour security inside the hospital is a necessity. He also discussed how the improvement of hospital facilities should be approached to overcome the many obstacles in place.
During a visit to the emergency department of Al Hawari hospital in Benghazi, Dagman was briefed on the services provided by the department, the efforts all doctors and personnel were going to so patients were receiving the best treatment possible. The Minister praised the significant role the hospital was playing to serve the citizens of Benghazi, and the humanitarian efforts all staff were giving.
