#Alitalia Airlines suspend #Rome - #Tripoli flights

Alitalia Airlines announced Saturday they will be suspending flights between Libya’s capital Tripoli and Rome on February 15-17, as a precautionary measure ahead of the second anniversary of the revolution.
Last month, Italy announced the temporary closure it’s consulate in Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi due security reasons, after Consul Guido De Sanctis’ vehicle was shot at.
Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines have also suspended their flights last week due the security situation in Libya.
